Sorry for the blackout. I suffered a bad neck injury and I have been out of commission for a while–pain killers really muddle my creative energy. My writing has been struggling besides; I felt renewed returning from the Willamette conference, but then work consumed my schedule for weeks. Seems like whenever I get out of my routine, it’s very difficult to get back into that mindset again.

On the plus side, I am a few hours from finishing my first publishable short fiction, Into the Mist. Just need a few more tweaks on the ending and a bit more feedback from my critique group.
